OBS preview canvas

To start virtual camera you can go to Studio mode.

Sources are subsets of scenes. Examples of sources include audio input capture and media sources like images.
How to livestream on OBS- Settings
The settings are the most basic thing you check before you start to record or livestream.
General settings
The general settings include:
- language

- streaming output – usually output mode is set to simple.

- display capture will display whatever is displayed on your screen.
- start recording so this is your screen you want to start recording you can just hit on start recording.
